It is approximately six to seven hours voyage by road to Queen Elizabeth National park from Kampala-Uganda’s capital city. This means that you have to thoroughly prepare and warm up for the adventurous experience at the park. Queen Elizabeth is the biggest National park and is situated in the South Western region of Uganda covering four districts of Kamwenge, Kasese, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. This National Park occupies an estimated 1,978 square kilometres extending from Lake George in the north-east to Lake Edward in the south-west and includes the Kazinga Channel connecting the two lakes.
